Andy Rush has had so much fun facilitating gangs of mixed ability/mixed experience singers into choirs. He’s done this with his high school kids at Ernestown Secondary School, with pre-service teacher candidates at Queen’s, with his own Open Voices Community Choir of Kingston, and as a guest facilitator in Ottawa, Haliburton, Merrickville, Almonte, Kathmandu and Chennai. It’s all about unlocking the song… figuring out the tricky bits and then enjoying singing. Andy’s wife and two adult daughters are all visual artists. Andy lives in a co-operative housing neighbourhood in Kingston, Ontario.
