Once again, CKCU will be illustrating the OGF/CKCU partnership by broadcasting some of their Saturday programs from the Ottawa Grassroots Festival venue, the First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa, at 30 Cleary St.
This year, CKCU will provide more programs at the festival than ever, including a workshop.
The full CKCU program is as follows:
10 am to noon – ‘Canadian Spaces’ – A live radio and video broadcast of Canada’s longest-running folk/roots radio show, with hosts Anne-Marie Brugger, Carolyn Sutherland and Chris White.
Noon to 1 pm – ‘The Back 40’ – A live radio and video broadcast of CKCU’s flagship program for country, bluegrass and old-time music, with hosts Al Surmachynski and Teresa Bandrowska.
1:15 to 2:45 pm – ‘CKCU Radio Camp On Wheels’ – A workshop for children and adults to learn audio, video and photography skills.
3:00 to 4:00 pm Songs and Tunes for Kids of All Ages
4:00 to 5:00 pm Chris White Presents
Be sure to make CKCU one of your stops (Room 3 Lower Level) at the Ottawa Grassroots Festival, on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
